In the Time of Corona

Locations photographed:
-Paramount Theater
-Pike Place Market
-Steinbrueck Park
-Century Link Stadium
-Capitol Hill

Many businesses around Seattle and Tacoma were boarded up when the pandemic hit the Pacific Northwest. Several artists were commissioned to make mural art on the panels to give them some life and creativity and to also uplift the community. It felt very strange to photograph these places with no people. It all feels very strange. Every single person on the planet is experiencing covid-19. It started to get real for me when the Washington governor ordered schools to be closed. When the pandemic lifts, I hope it doesn't go back to business as usual. Society must change and start being good stewards of Mother Earth. She is trying to tell us something. We need to start listening.
